1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Gauja NP, Turaida Castle wooden sculpture park, Saiuliai/Hill of Crosses, Curonian Spkit, kayaking in Aukstaitija NP2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Pack very lightly, many forms of transport incl buses, trams, trains, ferries & walking!3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Here & there, difficult to evaluate4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Wonderful knowledgable guide who made the difference; sometimes seemed rushed, checking into hotel & 30mins later out again; had a few bad hotel rooms next to lift shaft/delivery areas, overlooking building sites; which was unpleasant; lots of walking so need to be walking fit. I did NOT like the operator's admin, very ponderous & too much repeated paperwork. I had a few dodgy hotel rooms next to lift shaft, hotel delivery area & overlooking building sites.Read the operator's response here:
