Galapagos - what a magical place. The wildlife is amazing; part of everyday life, not 'out there somewhere'.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Waterproofs for Ecuador, especially this time of the year. Downpours are frequent, sudden and quite heavy.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, local businesses are used.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Really too many to pick out specifics - Ecuador was amazing, both the scenery and the cultural activities, we saw animals and birds in Galapagos that we will see nowhere else. We added an Amazon extension, which gave a third and yet another different dimension. Lots of water activities which were brilliant.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Dont assume the Galapagos is the best bit! It was great, but so was Ecuador mainland and the Amazon rain forest3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
It certainly supported local people, but difficult to see how it was environmentally friendly given the amountbof travel, including by plane4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
The vacation was unforgettable. I was a little worried about it, before going, as the admin/communication with the tour operator was difficult.Holiday Reviews
