1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
The Wagah Border ceremony near Amritsar was unexpectedly interesting. Sound and Light Show at Delhi Red Fort was very good although not well publicised (my wife had to inform the operator about it before we travelled). City Palace visit in Udaipur was also very good with very knowledgeable guide.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
As the guides told us, just ignore all the hawkers/tuk-tuk drivers, and do not enter into any conversations with them unless you really want to buy something. Expect to be asked for a selfie with locals as they seem to be fascinated with westerners.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Not too sure. Staying at some of the more independently run hotels rather than major chains probably helps local economies more.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
An interesting and unforgettable experience. Its a chaotic environment in the towns and cities that we are not used to and traveling on the roads can be a bit scary. Plenty of historic sites to see.Ann Dieckmann review 4 Mar 2020
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
It was a vacation of lots of highlights, but Udaipur, the Taj and Varanasi were all amazing2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
The operator gave a very high level of service. All the places we visited were great, but possibly could have missed out Jodhpur. The driver was excellent and his services made for seemless travel.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
The visit to Bradutpur bird sanctury clearly benefits conservation. I think all the places we stayed were local hotels so profits stay within India.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
How can you answer this with a small response about how wonderful one thing in India is ??? The first car ride (mad), Delhi (wonderful), Agra (astounding), Udaipar (Calm), Chittor (so different and off the beat), Bundi (what a place), Ranthambore (Two tigers and 40 minutes viewing so what can I say), Jaipur (blimey), Jodphur (myths and legends in luxury), Jaisilmer (colour and people so brilliant). What was the best, the people were astounding we met across the whole trip and I think we made some lifelong friends (barring idiots who you get in all countries of course). Go here, be astounded as pictures don do any of it justice.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Take it as it comes, don't judge anything and really enjoy all of the street life, food and people.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Hopefully as we used local guides, accomodations and restaurants everywhere. Ranthambore is a conservation area for the tigers so hoping fees go into helping hem and the other animals in the parks. Took the train (19 hours), wife loved it in 3AC !!4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
I went with some expectations and it blew away all of my preconceptions and totally wowed me.Holiday Reviews
