Great itinerary, taking in mountains, valleys, places of strategic / religious importance. Knowledgeable, experienced guide / wonderful food / great travel companions.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Don't delay! Georgia is a fascinating country to visit.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We stayed in good quality, local hotels / some guesthouses, ate at a variety of restaurants and on twice stopped for lunch in local homes. Hotel in Gori supplied drinking water for guests on each floor.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
The Kasbegi mountains were stunning. Also the Kura valley between Gori and Vardzia. During the winery visit, three Philharmonia singers gave a memorable rendering of folk songs. And five waitresses sang a beautiful song during our final dinner. Tbilisi - vibrant city, plenty to do and see. Georgian people were invariably welcoming and friendly.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
The last day, traveling back to Tbilisi from Vardzia is a long one and the scenery is not as interesting. Be prepared for a surfeit of delicious food at every single meal!3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes - meals with local families, visit to a private vineyard, felt making demonstration, stay in Vardzia in a remote family run hotel.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
An excellent experience in all aspects - an interesting and varied itinerary. Amazing food, and very copious. Varied accommodation but always of a good standard. 1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Climbing up from the village of Stepantsminda to the Tsminda Samba Church, on the Causases hillside overlooking the valley. We had a sunny day and the trail quite challenging in places, as worth it for the view over the surrounding mountains and hills. I loved the mountains and the drive up the Georgian Military Highway.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
To bring warm clothing as it can be quite cool in the mountains.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We had quite a few lunches in the homes of local people as opposed to restaurants and felt that the money was going to individual families in the community.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
A very interesting vacation, visiting numerous Orthodox churches and Monasteries, seeing the beautiful buildings, learning about the history, past and politics as well as the culture of wine making and Georgian music. The meals in the local people's homes presumably benefited the hosts and we were offered water from one main tank on the bus to reduce purchase of plastic bottles4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
