The 4 wheel drive into the country side.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
The traveling in the Balkans is a lot by road in mini buses and people carriers. There is quite a lot of this. Not a relaxing as on a train or I suspect a luxury coach. By the nature of the Balkans (the name means mountains) the road are very twisty.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Other than being no fly and using local suppliers, nothing special.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Seeing Albania for the first time.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Prepare to be robust, some long travel days in minibuses on winding roads.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Not sure, certainly in Albania people were warm and hospitable and glad to see us. We did though use a lot of gas to drive long distances4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
