1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Sailing around the Cyclades, discovering some of the smaller islands. Stopping off in different places to experience real Greek hospitality. We went to Iraklia, Koufonissi, where we had lunch in an absolutely gorgeous taverna. , Schinoussa and Anti Paros. We also loved the experiences on Naxos. E biking with Stefanos was great and the guide was a great character to spend the day with. We also hiked up Mt Zas with an equally interesting guide. Sadly the wind meant we had to cancel our kayaking.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
We experienced quite a lot of wind especially during our sailing trip. We aren't experienced sailors but out skipper needed us to be on hand to learn how to tack. We loved the experience, but if you're expecting a sailing trip where you sunbathe and read a book, think about the changing weather and make sure you have the right expectation!3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Booking through the tour operator's eco walking made a big difference. There is local agents and we dealt with a few who gave us lots of valuable advice about Greece. Their team was always at the end of the phone to answer any day to day queries and organised every day. The vacation definitely benefitted local people.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
We loved our vacation and would definitely recommend the tour operator and Responsible travel. Getting local advice saves such a huge amount of time when booking a vacation and takes a lot of stress and indecision away.David Hoover review 26 Jun 2026

Allow extra driving time for tours on Lefkada.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, meals and activities used local restaurants and guides. Most of the planned activities were self-propelled, so reduced fossil fuel use.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
