Reviews for Tigers and rhinos tours in India

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Sighting an adult female tiger in Kanha National Park. We viewed the tiger on a small ridge as she walked and sprayed. As there was only two jeeps with her we were able to drive along the road with her as she walked. She came to within 150 feet of the road until she decided to go down the opposite side and head off toward a herd of spotted deer. It appeared she was headed for a hunt as it was near dusk. An amazing experience with a royal being! A second highlight was my day tour of Delhi. My guide Sheerma was fantastic. He went above and beyond in ensuring that I thoroughly enjoyed the day. It was the best city tour I have every had!2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Expect to see a great diversity of wildlife in Kaziranga and Kanha parks but don't expect to automatically sight tigers. I went on nine safari drives totaling over 31 hours before I sighted my tiger during my final hour on safari.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
It supported conservation through park fees that help fund the India Forest Service which manages India's national parks. It also results on financial support to lodge staff, drivers and guides all of which were local people.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
It was just a fantastic and memorable experience. The booking agent did a fantastic job creating the itinerary which came off without a hitch. I would highly recommend this vacation.Holiday Reviews
