Yes, we stayed in an excellent family run bed and breakfast. All the activities were run by local, small companies that we would not find by ourselves so easily.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
An exceptional week filled with great activities, fantastic food and unbelievable scenery. The tour operator did a great job at organizing every detail to perfection. Being in the mountains! The scenery was stunning and the activities a bonus!2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Don't be put off by bureaucracy. You will need your NHS proof of double vaccination, your COVID LF tests to take with you for use 48 hrs pre return, and the PCR kits ready for when you return. The new passenger locator form also needs completion prior to rerun.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We were welcomed at every venue by locals who were clearly glad that they were back on the tourist map.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

White water rafting was so exciting as was learning to water ski.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Everything was so well organised by the operator. The teenagers particularly loved the stand-up paddle lesson and the canyoning. The nature walks were brilliant, led by a knowledgeable and friendly guide.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

La Grange des Ecrins was amazing Via Ferrara was terrifying and exciting Every bit of the trip was amazing.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
If you are thinking of doing Via Ferata with children then we would suggest doing the tree climbing 1st to check they are happy with the equipment.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
All the activities were run by local people including the hotel and the vacation therefore brings tourism to this area but without spoiling the beautiful environment.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Being up in the mountains and doing great fun activities..staying in a mountain refuge, rock climbing, via ferata.. all brilliant activities!2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Book as many activities up as you can.. ie one every day! October is also a great time of year to go!3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes.. it benefitted the accommodation we stayed at and the local shops where we bought food?4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
