Reviews for Madagascar family adventure holiday
Fiona Kinsman review 20 Aug 2016
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Hearing Indri lemurs call out to each other in the forest, and then seeing them above our heads!2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Be relaxed - sometimes you will see things, sometimes not - the national parks are not zoos. Be prepared - sometime there will be no electricty, usually there willbe no wifi, no clothes washing facilities unless you do it yourself in the shower....Madagascar is a very poor developing country, you can't expect things like at home, but keepan open mind and enjoy the differenece3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
The guides and drivers were all Madagascan so benefited from employment, we only had one or 2 meals in "local" restaurants, which were in fact very good, that could have been increased.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
An excellent combination of nature tourism and adventure and relaxing, difficult for such a mixed group (aged from 9 to 76) but successful!Holiday Reviews
