1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
There are so many. The crew were amazing…all so friendly, helpful and just wanted us to have a great vacation. The food prepared was excellent and all of the passengers dietary requirements were catered for. The weather was not very favourable but we still thoroughly enjoyed the trip and having a red deer stag jump out across the track in front of me and leapt across a river was amazing.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Bring layers of clothing and waterproofs. Go on a diet before you come as you will be fed like royalty. Bring binoculars and a camera.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
It definitely benefits local communities. The food was all fresh and bought locally. The seafood was amazing. We learnt about what the local organisations are doing to protect their sea life and also their birds and land mammals.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
An amazing trip despite the weather. Our captain was fantastic. He kept us informed of all his decisions of where we were going and why. He was very much safety and well being of his passengers first.Eileen Johnson review 30 May 2026

Luggage space is at a premium, small, soft, cases recommended. If you need to take a lot request a main deck cabin on Glen Massan, which have spacious en suite where extra stuff can be stowed.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
To some extent, notably on Ulva.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Crew and entire offering were excellent. 7 of the 10 passengers were returning customers which says it all!Holiday Reviews
