1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
We had an amazing time and the company was fantastic, they took care of everything! We were also paired with a wonderful guide in Tibet who
helped make our trip even better. The most memorable part was actually seeing Kailash for the first time (a long awaited dream) - it was breathtaking!
2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
I would strongly recommend taking the altitude medication (Dimox) and also doing some suitable preparation such as hill walking.
3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes I feel it did benefit local people (our guide was Tibetan and so was our porter). Also, we walked the whole kora (around the mountain) so this reduced our environmental impact.
4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
I would rate our vacation 10/10 - everything was organised for us so that we could just relax and enjoy the trip.

We provide information on how to preserve the environment, for example putting trash in the proper place like the rubbish box and using established fire pits which can burn disposable wastage. Non disposable things are brought back and handed over to the garbage management organization. The group size of 4-8 people will minimize the impact we have on the environment.People
Our tourism generates income for the local community. We purchase local products such as fresh fruits, handloom products, meat, drinks and fresh vegetables. We use local Tibetan guides and drivers on this trip and stay at Tibetan standard hotels and guest houses.We give support to local schools and health organizations. We donate money and educational materials to kids according to the condition of the school and facilities. We provide support to local health posts by giving medical materials. We also provide support to the Kvresthali Women Society to help repair Culvert Bridge. It also helps goat farming and adult literacy for women projects.
