Accommodations are carefully selected to be sustainable: centuries old houses, renovated with modern knowledge, Green Key eco-label. To keep you in comfort with a conscious mindset.
As we have remote places on tour, we can use only cars, but the vehicles are shared to optimize consumption. We use the one optimal to certain amount of visitors, not bigger than needed.
Fresh and tasty vegan food is available in every restaurant and tavern we visit. Province area leans on seasonal and local products due to Estonian four seasons.

ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE
This vacation relies on nature 80%, so we explore our impact on it 100%: we walk only on allowable areas and paths, leave no trash behind, and park on certified places. The seals’ habitat is protected, so we keep a respectful distance — but they are free to swim closer to us.
Travel routes are designed to avoid unnecessary driving.
We donate per visitor to protect flying squirrels.

LOCAL ECONOMY
Wild & Heritage strengthens Estonia’s local economy by intentionally directing every step of the tour toward small, community-based partners. Instead of large chains, guests stay in independently run heritage manors, where revenue supports local staff, historic preservation, and rural livelihoods. Meals highlight ingredients sourced from nearby farmers, fishermen, and organic producers, ensuring that the money spent on food circulates within the region rather than leaving it.

EMPLOYMENT, INCLUSIVITY AND DIVERSITY
Local guides — many of whom grew up in the very landscapes they interpret — are hired directly, giving visitors authentic insight while providing stable income to professionals who help keep cultural knowledge alive. Small museums, artisan studios, and village restaurants benefit from the tour’s slow pace, which encourages guests to explore, taste, and purchase locally made goods.
Our local partners preserve and carry forward traditional skills, such as wooden boat building and free-range keeping of Estonian native horses for coastal meadow grazing.
