The trip to La Pax supports the Jatun Yampara and Tacana indigenous communities residing there. Tourists can stay in Jatun Yampara and Tacana homes, supporting the local economy. A part of the profits from this tour goes directly to the people of the Tacana community, to the people of the Tunupa villages on the Altiplano and to the indigenous community of Jatun Yampara and are reserved for donations to the Legion de la Buena Voluntad in la Paz- a children's kitchen, serving 215 low-income indigenous boys and girls with healthy, nutritious food. Tourists can purchase handicrafts from local markets and indigenous guides are exclusively employed which, all contributes to the local economy. An entrance fee is paid into the Reserves and National Parks where the indigenous communities reside, actively promoting and protecting indigenous cultures and lands.

Overall was a great trip. The 27 days tour starting from Uyuni and ends in Lake Titicaca was amazing. All the guides were friendly and professional, especially the one in La Paz (Leonardo), he was Super helpful and knowledgeable and would strongly recommend people to use he. We loved the variety offered by Bolivia, from the stunning mountains of the Altiplano to the breathtaking views over lake Titikaka to the exciting wildlife in the pampas grasslands to the incredible, other-worldly experience of the salt flats and desert.
