Walking along the Costa Brava coastline and swimming in the Mediterranean.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
There are sections of the trails with very tricky footing over rocks, so be sure you are comfortable with that.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
All of the above. We stayed in local hotels, ate in local restaurants, and purchased picnic food in local shops recommended by our guide. I especially appreciate that there was minimal dependence on bus travel. On almost every day we began our hike at the hotel's door. On the other day, we took a public bus to our starting point. Our guide was Catalan and shared historical and personal insights into the Catalan identity.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
