Small group tour, ideal for solos & couples:
Small group travel is not large group travel scaled down. It is modeled on independent travel – but with the advantage of a group leader to take care of the itinerary, accommodation and tickets, and help with the language. It’s easy to tick off the big sights independently – but finding those one-off experiences, local festivals, traveling markets and secret viewpoints is almost impossible for someone without the insider knowledge gained from years in the field. For those with limited time, a small group tour will save valuable time in planning, and on vacation.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Walking along the Costa Brava coastline and swimming in the Mediterranean.
2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
There are sections of the trails with very tricky footing over rocks, so be sure you are comfortable with that.
3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
All of the above. We stayed in local hotels, ate in local restaurants, and purchased picnic food in local shops recommended by our guide. I especially appreciate that there was minimal dependence on bus travel. On almost every day we began our hike at the hotel's door. On the other day, we took a public bus to our starting point. Our guide was Catalan and shared historical and personal insights into the Catalan identity.
4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Excellent itinerary, wonderful guide, great group of fellow travelers. It was a fabulous trip.

Plastic waste reduction: Please bring a reusable water bottle on this trip, also consider avoiding single-use hotel toiletries, which generate a large amount of plastic waste.
People
By traveling in a small group, we ‘tread lightly’ to minimise our impact on local resources and the environment.We work with our partners on the ground to proactively reduce waste; this includes eliminating all single-use plastic water bottles by providing refills for reusable bottles.
We rewild 1,075sqft (100sqm) per passenger to compensate for all trip and flight emissions.
