What to expect from a small group walking vacation?
On our small group vacations, the logistics are sorted; you just need to follow the leader. Expect our trips to come with great guides who might not just be experts in where you are but might have also had a hand in creating or maintaining the trail to top it all. Then you get the great company of fellow walkers. These vacations are generally less expensive than tailor made trips, and more social too. Most of our small group walking vacations come with luggage transfers, so you only need to carry a day pack. You’ll get lovely locally run hotels for the nights, but you’ll get plenty of opportunities to try local restaurants and cafes in the day, rather than going full board.
Where can you go small group walking?
We run small group walking vacations practically all over the world, so wherever you want to go, walk this way. We have popular trips in Europe’s most beautiful and hiker-friendly hotspots, so head to the Alps, the Greek Islands, Albania’s mountains, or Tuscany’s rolling hills. One additional perk of small groups is that you can make it to destinations that you might be less confident visiting on a self-guided trip. So, tackle the Inca Trail in Peru with a group and know that you’ll be acclimatising at the right pace, head to Morocco’s High Atlas for the highest mountain in North Africa, go to Patagonia for dramatic glaciers, or visit Japan to get great insight into the culture from your guides as you go.
