1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

Teaching a class of Nepali 12 year olds.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone, be prepared to accept and enjoy the concept of difference - and - wear a mask on your long distance flights, wish I had. I would also suggest that you don't try to pack too much into your stay - it's too easy to look at everything, but see nothing, because you can't take it all in. Be careful not to go home with loads of photographs but no memories, Nepal is too magic a place for that.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

All three - I stayed with a Nepali Family, ate with them, talked with them, had a wonderful time, despite picking up a bug on the flight across and being sick for half the stay. They really took care of me, it would have been so much more uncomfortable had I been staying in a hotel.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Despite being unwell I had an amazing time - staying with the family taught me so much more about a country I was already more than a bit in love with. I didn't want to leave and will go back to stay with them again as soon as I can - it's another world and one well worth exploring slowly.
