1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
There are many memorable parts such as the calm of sailing in a felucca, the welcoming of the Egyptians. However, the atmosphere at Saqqara is the most memorable.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Refer to the chart about the optional activities, which is on the operators website when budgeting for the trip. This information is not in the trip details that are sent to travelers. For a full experience, do all optional activities. Also, check if the guide is an Egyptologist, as the operator did not convey that in the information.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Most of the hotels were making an effort to reduce environmental impact in some way or other. In the context of the country, this is positive. Food was local and not imported, the vast majority of it prepared on site and not processed. The trip constantly benefits local people, and supports conservation of the rich heritage of Egypt.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
