To help us protect and preserve what remains of both China’s wonderful cultural and natural heritage, we ask that all of our travel participants help care for the environments they visit by being respectfully aware of the unique locations we take them to. This itinerary is acutely aware of the need to protect the UNESCO World Heritage Sites both for current and future generations to fully experience. The bonus of our sustainable approach to experiencing the Great Wall is that you will also get to encounter this amazing spectacle at a more relaxing pace and you will improve your health and fitness at the same time too! As a bonus of our unique approach, you will also discover that our tour groups are small in size so that are impacts are minimised, and of course, so that we can afford you the attention you deserve!

Activity:
The most inspiring, exhilarating and rewarding way to experience the captivating and wondrous areas is cycling. We will choose the Low-carbon way to visit Hainan. "Green travel, enjoy riding” is as the theme to ride a bike in the form of more people concerned about the low carbon travel, and actively promote the choice of a healthy low-carbon way to travel.

Water:
As we always manage to live a fairly normal plastic-free life and hope to promote it in every groups that we organized. During this cycling tour, we will supply water for the riders from a support van. And we highly suggest the riders carry with their own water bottle to refill the boiled water. It is different from other normal tours that buy plastic bottles that add to landfill. 

Flora and fauna :
Our local guides will have a set of guidelines for each tour. The flora and fauna (flowers and animals) are in abundance and wide variety in remote villages along this tour. And the weak ecological environments are complex and multiplicity, and they are damageable. we advocate ecological tourism. Footpaths crisscrossed the fields, where the crowing of cocks and the barking of dogs were heard within distance, of course we stick to footpaths. The growing number of visitors is damaging the footpaths. It is necessary to mention this on tour briefing to our clients.

Waster:
As we all know every tour produces a surplus of waste and hard-to-use biomass that is best kept in the food chain by feeding it to livestock. Before cycling , we will buy from local markets to prepare foods in moderation, such as bread, milk, instant coffee, jam, vegetable, sausage... We will try to eat them all, do not  leaving too much food on the way.

Office:
It is advocated to recycle paper and ink cartridges to reduce the waste in landfill sites. We turn off printers, computers, battery chargers and transformers at the end of each day and use energy-efficient bulbs and low-energy appliances.

People

Our itinerary has been designed to fully incorporate the local communities of the regions we visit. We value their unique insights, knowledge, and hospitality, and believe that they too should benefit from tourism too. We respect their traditions and beliefs, and are acutely aware of the need to respect indigenous people and religious sites in particular.

Accommodation and Meals:
This provides direct income for local house owners by use local owned hotel or hostel. We buy locally grown and produced food as much as possible; we support local businesses by staying in locally owned guesthouses, eating in local restaurants and taking our bikers to local operations and parks. Discovering new foods, dishes and flavors is an integral part of travel. We love to eat, at same to to have a close touch with local residences.

Local services:
We engage locally-owned and operated services thereby supporting local people and communities as well as minimizing use of long and carbon-intensive supply chains. For example we rent bikes locally and use local repairers to service the bikes where necessary during the tour.

A fair deal :
We employ local guides and drivers and offer local people good working conditions, a fair wage, and empower them with training opportunities. 

Local crafts and culture :
We sustain jobs and cultural diversity by supporting local craft makers and artisans, and promoting cultural attractions to our clients. And our guests have the opportunity to buy local products and visit cultural center/attractions as well.

Traveling with respect :
We work to create good relationships between tourists and the local community. It has to be two parties, travelers and locals, working together. It should be emphasized that the area is a residential place for the locals, not only an attraction. Hence, it is critical for travelers not to make unnecessary noise and mess around the area. Similarly, for the locals, they could welcome travelers by talking to them about histories and the cultures.
