Our guided mountain bike trips are built around sustainability and a deep respect for the natural world. By relying on human-powered bikes and minimizing vehicle use, we provide a low-impact way to explore Chile's breathtaking mountain landscapes.

Our hotel of choice in Puerto Varas is carbon neutral and has won awards for its sustainability.

Our top guest house has turf rooves, uses clean wood burning stoves for energy and has a large pollinator friendly garden.

We strictly follow Leave No Trace principles, carefully avoiding any harm to the natural environment and its delicate ecosystems. Our tours are designed to do more than just showcase the stunning scenery—they aim to educate and inspire. Our knowledgeable guides share insights about the unique flora, fauna, and ecosystems of the region, emphasizing their ecological importance and the urgent need for conservation. Through this approach, we help foster a deeper connection between participants and the natural environment, promoting responsible behaviour and a commitment to preserving these beautiful yet fragile mountain regions for generations to come. We visit Alerce national park, contributing with park fees and learning an appreciation of the ancient forests.

On our guided mountain bike trips, we work closely with local staff and support small communities, ensuring the economic benefits of our tours stay within the region. By partnering with local guides, suppliers, and businesses, we help sustain livelihoods and contribute to the long-term well-being of the area.

Our trips also provide participants with an opportunity to connect with the rich history and cultural traditions of the mountain communities. Through storytelling, shared experiences, and interactions with local people, we inspire travelers to appreciate and respect the unique identity of these regions. This approach fosters meaningful cultural exchange and helps preserve the heritage of the area while creating a positive and lasting impact for both visitors and locals.

EMPLOYMENT, INCLUSIVITY AND DIVERSITY

On our trips we use female and male local guides.

For any optional walking tours and mountaineering tours we use a high mountain indigenous Mapuche guide. All guides are local to the area, are fairly paid and treated.
