Cruising allows guests to unpack once while traveling between Rosyth, Oslo, Copenhagen and Gothenburg, reducing the need for multiple hotel stays and transfers between cities. Balmoral’s smaller size also enables convenient access to city-center berths, helping make destinations such as Oslo, Copenhagen and Gothenburg more accessible on foot and reducing the need for local transport.

On board Fred Olsen's Balmoral, a wide range of dietary requirements can be accommodated, including vegetarian and vegan meals, alongside gluten-free, dairy-free, diabetic and low-fat options. Along the way, you'll explore local markets, cafés, vineyards, and family-run restaurants, helping to support the local economy.

This cruise tour also provides the chance to support local economies through guided experiences, visits to cultural attractions, local food tours and spending in the destinations visited. In Gothenburg, the guided food tour offers a chance to discover local specialities and traditional Swedish flavours, while excursions in Denmark and Norway support local guides and attractions.
