1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
The children absolutely loved the water rafting and finding minerals along the
River Ardar. Staying at the Wild Farm was very memorable in itself as the
place gave the children the opportunity to play with their pets and play outdoors when we were not doing activities. Betty, our host, was lovely and included our children in family games.

As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) vacation so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.
PlanetI have created this special family adventure trip in Eastern Rhodope Mountains, because this is the best place in Bulgaria for watching raptors. By participating in our trip you support the local Madjarovo Center for protection of rare bird species. Within a distance of only 15-20 km, along the valley of Arda, you can watch two thirds of all species of birds of prey, inhabiting Europe. The larger part of them is listed in the World's Red Book of rare species. It is a once in a life time experience of short-distance observation of golden eagle, Egyptian vulture and Griffon vulture, wolves!
PeopleA secluded ancestral house, at the entrance of the village has become a home for an incredible young family from Madzharovo. This is not the common "Guest house" - it is a home, always open for all friends, old-time friends, as well as newly met ones; for the ones, seeking freedom, the call of the wild and the colour of life. The Wild Farm and Eastern Rhodope Mountains are a very special place for many wild animals, such as vultures, big hawks and globally endangered raptors. In the farm there is a herd of over 500 cows and bull from indigenous breeds, which are bred the whole year round out in the free, in harmony with the laws of nature. In the Wild Farm you can also see wild bee hives, Karakachan sheep and dogs (indigenous breeds).
