This trek is the most rewarding trek in Nepal. We choose our suppliers very carefully who share the same ideas about the environment with us. This means not using plastic as much as possible. We still need to learn how to reduce the use of it and how to replace. Cut out sodas, juices, and other plastic-bottled beverages on your trek, instead drink a huge variety of local warm drinks like ginger-lemon-honey, masala tea, milk tea, lemon tea and so on. Remember that to stay hydrated is very important to avoid altitude sickness as well.

When you see wild animals on your way do not approach them. Remain quiet and respectful. Never come close to water buffalos to take some selfies or touch them.

Don't throw trash everywhere, firstly because yaks and goats and buffalos will pick up and eat them and it will destroy the natural balance.
Secondly, in Nepal, there is no one to clean the streets or paths. And showing a good example is very important. So if you have something to throw keep it with yourself and find a trash bin (there are many on this trek) or bring it to our stop point where it can be utilized properly.

We free the land and waterways from pollution. Clean waters are what we are proud of as our water is natural and comes from the mountains. Let's not pollute it.

We are staying in lodges and tea houses that use solar panels for the energy source. And during this trek, we will not use any transport, only when we get to the starting point and then at the end to get back to Kathmandu.

People

We are locally owned, and we are supporting local businesses in order to create income for people living in this specific area.
Our guides and porters that we work with on this trek are also locals who were born in this region, and they know it best. We provide all the necessary equipment for them, like clothes, shoes, bags, a place to stay, all meals, and insurance. They do work hard, and we appreciate their passion. We also support them during the whole year, as this is a seasonal job for them.

We are establishing a pension for our guides who can't work anymore due to age or health issues but have been with us for a long time, and they still need to support their families in the mountains.

Our main idea is to promote the love of the mountains in a way that creates a balance between locals, nature, culture, and travelers.
