Planet
As a company, we support the Mount Kenya Trust and help them as much as we can, from organising charity treks, helping them with back-up support during forest fires and with tree planting. In October 2019, our director went to the mountain to help with the tree planting programme and she and other volunteers planted 200 seedlings on the north west side of the mountain.We also collect rubbish whenever we are working on Mount Kenya and you will always see our litter picker in evidence.
People
As part of this trip, you stay at Sabache Eco Camp. We particularly want to support this camp as it is owned by a Samburu with many local Samburu working at the lodge. Your Conservancy fees support local community initiatives.You have the opportunity of visiting a local village.
