During the booking process for your vacation we reduce paper usage by corresponding by email wherever possible and only printing correspondence which is legally binding. We are a family run business and are committed to operating a Responsible Travel Policy. We aim to provide a quality and positive experience for our customers while contributing to and enhancing the local economy and respecting the environment.

There are a large number of National Trust Properties on route. The membership and entrance fees are used to restore and conserve our heritage, and provide employment for local people.

The majority of the accommodations we use in Devon and Somerset are locally owned and operated and use local produce for providing you with breakfast. Wherever possible we use accommodations that are registered with the Green Tourism Business Scheme. There are local shops, pubs and cafes along the way available for lunches and dinners. All these issues make a great difference to the economic welfare of the local community by providing employment.

Whilst on this vacation you will be walking at your own pace in your own group. We restrict group sizes on our self-guided walking vacations to a maximum of 12 to reduce impact on the community. We encourage you to use this walking vacation as means to support your chosen charity by way of sponsorship.

Our offices are very near the path of the Two Moors way, and as a result all our staff are very familiar with the route and itís most interesting points; we are always ready and willing to answer questions about the route, offer advice and solve any problems that occur along the way, either in person or over the phone.

The Exmoor section of the walk crosses some of the remotest parts of the national park, allowing you to really take in all that this unspoilt rural countryside has to offer; entering Exmoor as you pass the historic village of West Antsey, youíll pass through stunning river scenery and over lonely, striking moorland, through lovely villages and over hills with stunning vistas, before making a spectacular descent into Lynmouth via Myrtleberry Hangings.

Spending so much time in the National Park affords you an excellent opportunity to spot the Exmoor Ponies as well as lesser spotted wildlife. And if youíre ever in need of refreshment, every village that you come by will have at least one pub serving quality food and drink. Of note along the way are the Exmoor Forest Inn just before you come to part the charming river Barle, and the Lee House Inn in Lynton, right at the end, where you can celebrate your completion of the Two Moors Way with a well deserved meal and drink!
