CARBON REDUCTION

Travel by rail:
We encourage guests to travel by train with a 3% discount for rail arrivals. Guillestre is easily reached via Mont-Dauphin–Guillestre station, including the overnight train from Paris, helping reduce emissions from travel.

Low-carbon activity:
Cross country skiing is a human-powered activity with no ski lifts or motorised transport involved. Guests also share transport between Guillestre and the different Nordic ski areas.

ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE

Supporting low-impact winter tourism:
This vacation takes place in the quieter Nordic ski areas of Arvieux, Ceillac and Crévoux, supporting a lower-impact alternative to large downhill ski resorts while helping sustain local mountain communities.

Supporting nature recovery:
We make a contribution on behalf of every traveler to rewilding projects through our partner Mossy Earth, helping support habitat restoration and biodiversity.

Supporting local businesses:
Guests stay in a locally owned hotel, dine in independent restaurants and hire equipment from local businesses, ensuring tourism income stays within the community.

Local expertise:
All ski instruction is provided by qualified local instructors who live and work in the Southern French Alps, sharing their knowledge of the region while supporting year-round employment.
