This conscious choice to use shared local transports significantly helps in reducing CO2 emissions per individual traveler.

Moreover, we advocate the use of human-powered transportation, evident in our itinerary that includes five days of walking trips. This not only provides a unique experience but also significantly contributes to our goal of carbon reduction.

In our effort to further diminish our carbon footprint, all accommodations are small, locally-owned businesses which have a lesser environmental impact compared to large-scale hotel chains.

Our commitment to create a positive impact on the environment also transcends to the choices we make. For this reason, our preferred accommodations are not only committed to reducing their environmental impact, but also to restoring nature. Examples include the chosen Agriturismo, a farm stay that upholds environmentally friendly agricultural practices, and other accommodations that work on restoring and maintaining local green areas.

Creating a positive environment also means financially supporting areas where the biodiversity is preserved. Therefore, we include fees for various parks and protected areas in the travel plans, contributing to the protection and recovery of those environments.

At our core, we consider ourselves as guardians of the planet for future generations. We donate 1% of each trip to various sustainability causes. By choosing us, you are not only endorsing a memorable journey but also creating lasting impacts on the planet.

We firmly believe in nurturing the local economies of the places we visit, hence, the concept of this trip swirls around leveraging locally owned accommodations. The essence of this travel excursion is to reside in these local establishments for seven nights, offering an authentic cultural richness while directly providing economic benefits to the region.

Furthermore, to amplify local economic opportunities, we prioritize the employment of local guides who possess a deep-rooted knowledge and intimate understanding of the area. We also choose to dine in local restaurants, thus ensuring the money spent circulates within the community and doesn’t get outsourced.
