This Luxury Chile itinerary balances luxury and comfort with sustainable tourism principles. We encourage having multiple nights in each place, to minimise internal travel and maximise time on the ground.

Nature-based experiences such as horse-riding, hiking, cycling, star gazing, kayaking, bird watching are all low-impact ways to discover and enjoy Chile’s natural landscapes.

Each of the properties we have chosen are eco-luxury and recognised for their strong sustainability practices, including renewable energy use, water conservation, farm-to-table dining and active support for conservation projects.

Expert local guides enhance these experiences, providing insights into the fragile ecosystems visited, raising awareness on conservation challenges, and sharing practical tips on how to minimise impact.

People

People are at the heart of everything we do. Our local partners train guides annually on safety protocols, service, destinations, and responsible travel, ensuring they are equipped to make a positive impact.

LOCAL ECONOMY

Where possible, excursions are a curated to show the best of the destination, allow guests to travel deeper and support the local community. Many of the experiences offered in this itinerary do just that. The cooking class in Santiago directly supports local producers by sourcing ingredients from local markets, whilst at the same time promoting Chilean culinary heritage and traditions.

The properties in this itinerary are boutique and often employ locally trained staff, source food from nearby farmers and partner with community artisans, ensuring tourism revenue remains in the region.

EMPLOYMENT INCLUSIVITY AND DIVERSITY

At Vira Vira, the Mapuche cultural experience provides an authentic opportunity to learn from indigenous communities, while creating income streams that help preserve their cultural identity and traditions.

In the Atacama, experiences offered include opportunities to learn about the Lican Antai Culture and glimpse into the ancient history of the Atacama region.
