The Sardinia Grand Tour encourages slow, conscious travel that reduces unnecessary transfers and helps travelers discover the island at a sustainable pace. Each itinerary is designed to limit driving time, favouring longer stays in each area and low-impact activities such as hiking, cycling and kayaking.

We collaborate with locally owned accommodations including agriturismi, boutique hotels and eco-lodges that use solar power, natural materials and water-saving systems. Guests are invited to refill their bottles, limit energy and water waste, and avoid single-use plastics.

Meals are based on local and seasonal produce, often grown directly by our partners. Vegetarian and vegan options are available throughout the journey. By traveling slowly and choosing local suppliers, guests reduce their carbon footprint while supporting Sardinia’s small-scale economy.

ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE

The itinerary offers experiences in protected and rural areas such as the Supramonte mountains, the lagoons of Cabras and the vineyards of Gallura. All activities are nature-based and designed to have minimal environmental impact. Our local guides educate guests on Sardinia’s ecosystems, wildlife and biodiversity.

The Sardinia Grand Tour is rooted in local life. Every overnight stay, meal and activity supports Sardinian families, small enterprises and rural communities. Accommodations are locally owned and managed, ensuring that tourism revenue remains within the island.

Travelers take part in authentic experiences such as pasta-making workshops with local hosts, wine tastings in small Gallura vineyards and archaeological visits guided by Sardinian experts. Each experience supports artisans, farmers and cultural associations that keep the island’s traditions alive. Longer regional stays encourage a fairer distribution of income across the island, reaching smaller inland villages often overlooked by mass tourism.

More than 90% of our collaborators are Sardinian residents who share their knowledge and pride in the island. Many are women entrepreneurs or members of family-run businesses who have used tourism to revitalise rural areas. All partners are paid fairly and work in safe, supportive environments.
