There are no domestic flights in this itinerary, and International flights are not included in the tour price. This allows guests to choose flights with lower emissions and potentially combine journeys with other travel plans. Shared airport transfers are provided on the first and last days, reducing the need for individual taxis and supporting more efficient group transport.

Shared Local Transport:
The tour uses air-conditioned minivans, minibuses, and 4x4 vehicles appropriate to the group size (10–20 people). All transport is shared among the group, helping to reduce per-person emissions compared to individual travel.

Human-Powered Transport:
The itinerary includes several walking-based activities:
• Tangier: Guided walking tour through the medina and historic squares.
• Chefchaouen: Guided exploration of the blue city and main square.
• Fes: Full-day walking tour through Fθs el-Bali, including souks and tanneries.
• Marrakech: Guided exploration of key sites and medina areas.

Advising Customers to Reduce Carbon Impacts:
Travelers are encouraged to use Water-to-Go filter bottles, which remove the need for single-use plastic bottles by providing safe drinking water from local sources. Camel riding policies:
We work with carefully selected local partners and ensure that the experience is respectful and of limited duration, typically around 45 minutes to 1 hour at sunset or sunrise.
The general practices followed include:
• One rider per camel
• Short, non-continuous usage periods
• Camels are under the care of experienced handlers with access to food and water
We are mindful of animal welfare and collaborate with partners who maintain appropriate standards of care.

Nature Encounters and Protection:
• The itinerary includes visits to natural landscapes such as the Rif Mountains, cedar forests near Azrou (home to Barbary macaques), Todra Gorge, Dades Valley, and the Sahara Desert (Erg Chebbi dunes).
• The Berber desert camp stay is designed to provide comfort while maintaining a low-impact presence in a fragile desert ecosystem, with minimal permanent infrastructure.

Protected and Heritage Sites:
Entrance fees are included for key UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Fθs el-Bali and Aοt Benhaddou. These contributions support the preservation of cultural and environmental heritage.

Environmental Awareness:
Travelers are provided with responsible travel guidance, including:

Tipping Kitty System:
A tipping kitty is collected and distributed by the guide to support local staff including hotel workers, local guides, drivers, camel handlers, and restaurant staff, ensuring fair and consistent income distribution.

EMPLOYMENT, INCLUSIVITY AND DIVERSITY

Local Employment:
The tour is operated by Moroccan staff, including drivers, guides, hotel workers, and desert camp teams. Additional local guides are used in cities to provide specialist knowledge.

Fair Pay:
All staff are paid at least the local minimum wage. Porters are employed and equipped in accordance with International Porter Protection Group (IPPG) guidelines.

Accessibility:
The itinerary includes walking tours, desert terrain, and travel across mountain roads. As such, it may not be suitable for travelers with limited mobility. Guidance is provided to help travelers assess suitability.

Cultural Respect:
Travelers are given clear guidance on respecting local customs, including dress codes and behaviour, particularly when visiting religious or traditional areas.
