Booked a 15 days tour of Uganda. With the support of Jackson, tailored the trip to our personal needs, including participation in the Source of the Nile Ultra Trail run. No problems for Jackson and his team. Read full reviewReviewed on 13 Feb 2020 by Peter Robbins

It is hard to pick out one thing. I enjoyed every part of being on or near the Nile. It is such a magnet for wildlife and Murchison Falls is breathtaking. Read full reviewReviewed on 30 Jan 2017 by Christin Monson
The whole trip was marvellous. The white water rafting very memorable, safari drives and river trips great but if I have to choose the most memorable thing it would of course be the gorilla trekking followed closely by the chimpanzee trekking. A wonderful vacation and well looked after by Alex our driver and guide. Read full reviewReviewed on 07 Jan 2016 by Kate Cullen
The most memorable part of the vacation was the mountain gorrilas - great trek into the mountains spending over an hour with the gorillas. The scenery was stunning which topped off the experience. Read full reviewReviewed on 14 Feb 2014 by Sabine Mosch

As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) vacation so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.
Planet
This trip is directly involved in wildlife conservation in that we plan for our guests to visit research and conservation areas during their safari like the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary en-route to Murchison falls where the once extinct Rhinos are being kept as they increase in number from the first 2 rhinos in 2001 and now we boast of 10 rhinos.Another venture is the chimpanzee community project en-route to Bwindi from Queen Elizabeth National park. The local people have managed to keep the chimps safe with the support of tourists and their donations. This has provided employment and revenue to improve on their livelihood in that region.
During our city tours and the Jinja town tours we use local public transport whenever we can so that you get hands on experience with the life in this places, be able to reach door to door places where big tour vehicles cannot reach and in this way we economically support the local people who provide this transport and get to visit more places and meet more people.

We plan this trip in such a way that we always stop by local craft centers like the Drum makers in Mpigi district en-route from Bwindi, The Nkuringo local library or Buhoma community market so that the guests support the local craft makers directly and see how the items are manufactured too. This is a better practice since prices are friendlier at local centers compared to the town markets like those in the capital city Kampala. We employ local guides, drivers, and interpreters as a company and at local levels we use community guides especially in places like Bwindi for community walks. We encourage the use of porters or helpers from the communities to carry luggage for the guests in order to earn some income from the tourism activities in their communities. The local guides provide 24 hour assistance to make sure there is cultural respect and that the guests are in harmony with the local community. This they start to do by teaching basic things like greeting and apologizing whenever one feels offended. Greeting helps create a quick link for communication with the local people since out of experience most of them know some English as a National Language.
