Minimal Footprint: Less than 5% of our private nature reserve is developed. The remaining 95%+ is left entirely untouched as a protected wildlife corridor to safeguard local biodiversity.
Bioclimatic Engineering: Designed as a passive-solar structure using alternative, locally sourced materials like renewable guadua bamboo and teak. High ceilings and open-air layouts capture mountain cross-breezes for natural air conditioning, eliminating energy-heavy cooling systems.

Zero-Plastic Pledge: We operate as a strictly zero-plastic retreat. Our artisanal pantry is entirely plastic-free, and the kitchen is styled with handcrafted coconut bowls and natural cutlery to eliminate single-use waste.
Eco-Friendly Products: We provide only 100% biodegradable, organic, Costa Rican-sourced soaps, body products, and eco-detergents to keep our waterways pristine.
Organic Interiors: Sleep environments feature organic bamboo linens and completely plastic-free, sustainable COCO-MAT orthopedic mattresses.
Eco-Systems & Giving Back
Renewable Infrastructure: Powered and heated entirely by solar panels and thermal heat collectors, backed by independent rainwater catchment and an eco-conscious graywater filtration system. Regenerative Impact: We plant one tree for every single booking. As certified 1% for the Planet members, a portion of all revenue directly funds local coral reef restoration, sponsored beach cleanups, and community rewilding initiatives.

Micro-Regional Sourcing: We source materials, maintenance, and artisan pantry goods almost exclusively from local independent suppliers, keeping the economic benefits of tourism entirely within our neighboring villages.
