We collaborate closely with our local representatives in Bhutan to uphold responsible tourism practices. This ensures that all travelers are informed about how to support local economic development and contribute to environmental conservation. Throughout the tour, we exclusively use locally owned and operated accommodations, which directly benefit local communities by creating employment opportunities and encouraging the use of locally produced goods. We also prioritize accommodations that follow eco-friendly practices to minimize environmental impact.

Our experienced tour guides in both Nepal and Bhutan offer practical advice to help reduce your environmental footprint. Key guidelines include:

• Avoid littering; carry your waste and dispose of it properly in larger towns or designated areas.
• Do not bathe or wash clothes in natural streams to help protect water quality.

To further minimize our impact, we limit group sizes to a maximum of 4 to 12 participants. Smaller groups not only reduce environmental strain but also create a more meaningful, immersive travel experience.

Local communities play a crucial role in sustainable tourism. We support their involvement by prioritizing locally sourced products, including fresh fruits, vegetables, and drinks, purchased directly from local suppliers. We also encourage local artisans to sell their authentic handmade crafts and interact with travelers, helping preserve traditions while providing additional income opportunities.

In Bhutan, approximately 35% of your tour payment—paid as a tourism royalty to the government—directly contributes to public welfare projects such as free education, healthcare, and infrastructure development. Tourism remains one of the most significant contributors to improving the quality of life for Bhutanese citizens.

We are also proud partners of the registered charity organization Chhahari Group Nepal. We donate 10% of our profits to support their work, along with additional contributions for educational and medical resources. Since 2001, Chhahari Group Nepal has been dedicated to uplifting communities affected by natural disasters and political challenges. Their key initiatives include supporting an orphanage, aiding community schools, organizing health camps, and providing scholarships. Their current major project focuses on operating a free community school for children from underprivileged families who cannot otherwise access formal education.

Through these ongoing efforts, we remain deeply committed to creating a positive and lasting impact in the destinations we serve—supporting both the environment and the people who call these places home.
