We aim to tread as lightly as possible when organising our tours to Sri Lanka. To encourage travelers to act responsibly, all guests on arrival to our destinations will receive a booklet that provides guidelines on cultural and environmental sensitivities Sri Lanka as well as step by step information from your driver/guide through out your stay.

All the guides that we use are local guides in each different area of Sri Lanka that we visit, thus ensuring that each area benefits from tourism. Also by touring around the country, your entrance fees help to ensure the preservation of historical sites and contributions around the different locations.

‘Live Like a Local’ experiences, ‘Tamarind Gardens’ was launched in 2012 in the village of Digana, which is located 20 kilometres from Kandy. Tamarind Gardens is a small domestic farm located on the banks of the Victoria Reservoir, consisting of 10 cows, poultry and a fruit and vegetable garden. Visitors can either assist in the maintenance and care of the farm or join in on any one of the many cottage industries which are run out of the homes of the local villagers. With the "live like a local" experience, the aim of this being to offer you a genuine contact and experience of the destination to feel the essence of the culture and history, so you come back with enjoyable memories and appreciation that you will treasure. It also benefits the local people to get a better cross cultural understanding between the local culture and visitor so that tourism can impact in a positive way.
