The experience of the rhythm of life at the Homestay and Houseboat during our time in the backwaters was very memorable. A big surprise was seeing such an abundance of bird life in the backwaters. I would rate our vacation very good overall. Read full review

We really enjoyed every aspect of the six days Jos organised for us. He did an excellent job in accommodating all our requests and made us a perfect tailor made itinerary. The homestays were gorgeous with excellent food and it was lovely to have two nights on our own private rice barge cruising the backwaters. Read full review

Visiting around Munnar with time to see nature and lots of bird life, made more memorable as we had a knowledgeable driver who showed us many birds. The Kathakali Dance event in Cochi gave an interesting insight into the historical parts of the area and was well worth seeing all the make up as well as the dancing. Read full review

This vacation will help the local community as their participation is actively involved at each instance - from the man who ride the country boat to the boy who perform the manual pollination of vanilla plant and the taper who make toddy out of coconut tree, all enjoy the benefit.

The fish, prawn, crab, coconuts, some vegetables and fruits produce locally benefiting the villagers and guests in turn enjoy fresh food.We have decided, 10% of the profit generating out this vacation package shall be used for helping the poor (old and sick) in the village. At the end of the journey travelers may donate any unwanted clothing, medicine and bandages, which are distributed to appropriate local charities.
