Faithful to our responsible travel policy, the hotels that we choose to partner with in Rhodes have their own recycling policy and use renewable energy sources where possible. At the same time we inform all our guests during their arrival about how to be a responsible traveler and how to contribute in sustaining the local environment. In these policies we encourage the guests not to litter, to dispose of rubbish carefully and recycle where possible, use water and energy sparingly. Take short showers rather than baths, reuse towels and bed linen rather than having them replaced daily, turn down/off air-conditioning or heating when not required, turn off all lights and appliances when you leave your room.

As Rhodes is a very touristy area, the environment is really sensitive. All of our activities are low carbon ways to explore Rhodes: sailing, horse riding and scuba diving and we are trying to avoid activities with high carbon emissions like jeep safaris or jet skis. It is also worth mentioning that there are restrictions in places regarding the activities. There are specific licences that define where each activity will take place in order to protect more fragile areas from pollution.

The water park, the horse-riding center, the dive center, the watersports center and the sailing excursions are all locally-owned and guided by locals.
