Excellent experience. They were fantastic hosts. Great hospitality. They went out of their way to give advice and information on about the region . Nothing was too big an ask. The activities were great fun and safe and very well organised supporting local people. Read full reviewReviewed on 28 Aug 2025 by emma short
We loved all of it. The rafting was beautiful and the treks and swims in the mountains were just amazing. The water was so warm! We all had an inspirational time on the via ferrata as we challenged ourselves mentally and physically. The sense of achievement was incredible. I didnt think I could do it but I did. I think the most memorable will be realising that Montenegro is beautiful, and has so much to offer, couple that with our outstanding Hosts Stan and G we had the best vacation. White water rafting on the Tara River. Our guide Vladimir was fantastic. Loads of fun, while still taking safety as number one priority. Our group of 10 were all in the raft and he took everyone's ability into account right down to our 6 year old. Stunning scenery, lots of opportunities to go dunking in the water and a good challenge paddling. Read full reviewReviewed on 13 Aug 2024 by Anna Bowley

Stan and Gorcas hospitality really made this vacation unforgettable- like sharing a fun family experience rather than being in a sterile hotel environment. Read full reviewReviewed on 25 Aug 2022 by Feena Robinson

We enjoyed every part of our experience! The location and setting is just beautiful, very quiet and relaxing. Read full reviewReviewed on 11 Aug 2019 by Anthony Mcleod
There were four of us and we all enjoyed the variety of activities provided. The rafting may have been the favorite, although the scenery we saw through the trekking, cycling and jeep safari was amazing. We added a day of quad biking at the end of our week and all loved that too, the lakes we visited on this trip were beautiful. Read full reviewReviewed on 06 Aug 2019 by Vivienne Thompson
The most memorable part of the vacation was going on the Via Ferrata even though we had not planned to go - it was a fantastic experience for all of us. The food cooked by Goca at the house was amazing. The views of the mountains in every direction. Read full reviewReviewed on 03 Jul 2019 by Kaoutar Sellam

Thoroughly enjoyed this vacation. Stan was an excellent host, took all the organising responsibility and also accommodated any request (drive to town, collect from dinner, packed lunches, welcome dinners and deserts etc) and the activities were a great way to explore the beaufitul scenery rather than looking at it for 10 minutes on a coach tour stop Read full reviewReviewed on 09 Sep 2018 by Becky Thomas
Superb - we would definitely recommend it (and have done so already to our friends). Perfect for people who want a more active vacation, without going too extreme so that you aren't exhausted by the time you come home! Read full reviewReviewed on 05 Jun 2018 by Anonymous
Amazing! The best part of our vacation was our host Stan and his lovely wife Gordana (probably spelled that wrong!). They picked us up from the airport, organised our tours, answered all our questions and generally took all the stress and hassle of the vacation away. The jeep safari is a fantastic way of seeing the (durmitor) National Park...At the end of a day of challenging activities it was lovely to return back to camp and have home made cakes made kindly by Stans wife, this was not part of the trip but a very much appreciated added extra. The best part of our vacation was the exposure we had to so many different walking routes and activities right on our doorstep. We experienced so many different things from zip lining across a large canyon to trekking through valleys and swimming in the black lakes. Read full reviewReviewed on 08 Jul 2016 by Vipesh Mistry

Planet
We have Montenegrin heritage and are proud of our country & love showing it off to our guests. We love nature and along with the stunning Montenegrin coastline we have majestic mountains in Montenegro, and especially the UNESCO National park of Durmitor. We absolutely love and appreciate our camp which is surrounded by perfect nature & its scenic setting; which guests get to enjoy whilst on activities & relaxing. Along with pristine nature there is an abundance of great Adventure activities on offer, for all guests to take part in, and we hope all our guests have a relaxing, fun filled active vacation stay!Nearly all of our activities have the concept of Eco tourism and mostly all are deemed as not harmful to the environment. Indeed the Durmitor National Park is a UNESCO protected national park and considered an 'Air' spa for visitors!
We provide all our guests with a friendly welcome Traditional Montenegrin meal plus drinks on arrival of stay. We also provide lunches on all activity days; buying most supplies directly from the local farmers market; such as locally produced jams, preserves, berries, meats & cheeses!
Our camp is surrounded by green fields, mountains & forests and we shall be discarding wherever possible all rubbish for recycling. We shall also have our outdoor lights run on solar energy and energy saving bulbs. We also offer our guests free usage of mountain bikes which we shall encourage our guests to use; as Eco transport to get around!
Our Activity team leaders are all local from the area and we hope to show our guests the benefits of protecting our environment on all of our activities. Our Trekking team leaders are also part of the conservation of the Durmitor forest and they will be explaining all aspects of nature to our guests on activities!
People
We directly aim to create jobs and employ & empower local people in this Mountainous region, who are heavily dependent on some income from tourism. Locals in the Durmitor region generally live from tourism or farming and so it's a massive chunk of their income to be involved within the sector of tourism. We employ 6 team leaders and also have a staff for the day to day running of our camp. We are hoping that we shall be able to make a difference in the community by employing locals and they shall have a direct benefit of being employed and gaining an income from our weekly activity package stays.
We encourage all of our staying guests to explore Durmitor for themselves on free days and evening times, and hope they'll visit local restaurants, cafes and eateries in the town of Zabljak; which will economically help out other local business's.
Our first season was back in 2013 and we shall hopefully continue to be a success and we shall endeavor to include as much possible for local people to be employed and for income to be spent back into the camp and to stay with the community!
