Responsible tourism
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your vacation will help support conservation and local people.

The maximum number of participants in our groups is 8-10 persons, as the routes are not designed for larger groups. This helps travelers to feel the whole authenticity of the area. Small groups don't cause negative impact either on the communities, nor on the environment.
Waste
There is a public recycling center in Georgia, which helps the country to implement modern principles of waste management that include saving resources and getting the economic effect by separating and subsequent recycling of waste. Separation corners offer an opportunity for people to take their sorted waste: glass, aluminum, plastic, paper and dispose it into the proper bin. So, we always encourage our tourists to throw their waste in the right place thereby help the country.
Water
We strongly believe reusable bottles are very important for health of the planet and always encourage travelers to have them. Georgia is a mountainous country and very rich in spring pure water. We in Georgia drink water from the tap and pour water from mountain springs. Mountains spring water is also drinkable and clean. To be on the safe side we advise travelers to bring drugged or metal filters to be sure water doesn't harm their stomach. This helps to minimize littering and plastic use in the country. Each day of the tour we also provide our travelers with water only filled in glass bottles.
Energy
We encourage our tourists to conserve energy and keep the use of air conditioners, lights and other electrical equipment to a minimum.
The Impacts of this Trip
We are sure that our travelers will have a huge impact on the local communities while getting acquainted with their daily life. This gives a both travelers and local people the chance to understand each other's cultural differences. We always encourage our tourists to visit local markets, buy souvenirs and local products from local stores.
We always inform our travelers about local customs and traditions, communication issues and rules of conduct in the churches. Thus, we minimize the risk of misunderstanding with locals and disrespectful behavior in religious places. When it comes to taking pictures of the people themselves, it is always advisable for our travelers to ask their permission beforehand. Respect their right to privacy if they decline the request.
A fair deal
Working conditions are at the core of paid work and employment relationships. Generally speaking, working conditions cover a broad range of topics and issues, from working time to remuneration, as well as the physical conditions and mental demands that exist in the workplace. We ensure that we offer local people good working conditions with a fare wage.

2 Reviews of Georgia tailor made tour

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Too many to mention but we particularly enjoyed Mestia with the towers and our jeep trip to Ushguli. The caves at Vardzia were stunning as were the many monasteries we visited.
2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
I would consider the distances we needed to travel to see all these sights and perhaps spend less time traveling and more time to explore. We did in fact cover all of Georgia apart from the coast.
3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We supported local businesses by eating out in smaller restaurants and supporting everything there was to offer us.
4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
In a word fantastic. Our guide Eka was wonderful, constantly offering interesting information about the sites. He went beyond what was expected of him caring for our every need. We felt we had a friend on vacation with us.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Visiting Trinity Church
2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Other travelers should be made aware of the difficult walking conditions at many of the sites, also the heights that are involved. Several of the sites we visited were not suitable for people suffering from a fear of heights. Do plenty of reading on the sites you are to visit as the infrastructure isn’t in place to give you anything more than simple points on history etc.
3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
The itinerary we followed did not really benefit any of the above. I think we were
trying to fit too much into a short time. Other travelers should be made aware of the distances between sites and the difficult driving conditions. In hind sight we would have liked to see more of the local life eg markets.
4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
We had a fascinating vacation and enjoyed Georgia greatly.
