Water & Waste: Our commitment to the environment is supported through our recycle policy. We offer all our riders a permanent cycling bottle to use whilst on the ride. In order to reduce plastic consumption, we make every effort to purchase 50L drums as a source to fill individual water bottles. This has a significant impact on the amount of waste we produce. We also make every effort to ensure that the 50L drum is put to local recycling once empty.

Energy and Transport: Being a cycle based operation, we are very conscious of our carbon footprint and fiercely support the value of cycle based travel. Not only does this reduce the need for petrol based vehicles, it also gives riders the opportunity to discover, explore and appreciate the landscape, remote communities and offers experiences not available when traveling by bus or car.

We look to support local organisations and NGOs that support the future of these beautiful animals. In addition, we avoid all animal based attractions where wild animals are tamed for the amusement of tourists.

People

On the Mongolian tour, we utilize the services of a local female guide to lead the expedition.
Our goal is to promote understanding between cultures during this experience and aim to provide homestays where possible. This is not purely for the benefit of the traveler, but very much a benefit for the local community. The curiosity and interest from locals is incredible, especially in the smaller, more remote towns where tourists rarely venture, and almost never by bicycle.

Campaign for Change: To truly understand the country and culture, we first must be guided by local experts. To understand issues of gender equality, we will visit an NGO that focuses on assisting and empowering young disadvantaged women. We will also look to explore issues of disability and other local issues through NGOs throughout Mongolia

Charity and Engagement: As a group tour, we will have the opportunity to pool together a collection of money and assist a campaign or project we learn about along the way that resonates with us. This will be carried out through local experts and any and all money donated will be followed up with by future tours.
