We believe that buying bottled water has detrimental impacts on the environment; we can make a conscience effort to reduce plastic waste by not buying bottled water. On this trip, you have access to drinking water in all the accommodation we stopover in. Clients who bring their own water bottles will be able to refill them daily, when out and about the local guide will be able to point out places where they can top up their water bottles.

By staying at rural guesthouses you encourage the consumption of more of the locally produced goods rather than staying at a big hotel; this can include traditional pottery instead of modern dishes, local textiles used for decoration, wood sourced locally for furniture, floors or heating.
