We are operating as a small, independent company with less than 20 local members, fostering daily connections among team members. Since the company's creation we are supporting the local population, economy, and ecology , emphasizing a fair and sustainable business model.

1. Carbon Reduction:

Introduced since the beginning of 2024 a program that will help us to measure the the carbon emissions provided in each tour and during the daily running of our company. We expect to understand what to change and how in order to contribute for the better health of our Planet.
Utilizing own vehicles for logistical reasons but emphasizing physically active exploration on foot or using paddle power for activities.
Promoting shared transports among all our clients
Encouraging clients to bring reusable water bottles to reduce single-use plastic consumption.
Promoting activities as Hiking, Kayaking, Cycling, SUP in order to take the best out of our islands and also reducing the carbon emissions of our trip
Serving the picnic lunches to our clients in reusable lunch boxes, dishware and cutlery. At the same time making available vegetarian and vegan food
Offering personalized Aluminium flasks or mugs for purchase, promoting sustainability and reducing waste.
Actively participating in river/stream and coastal clean-up programs to combat pollution and at the same time providing educational tools to our local populations and clients in order to reduce waste in our Nature.


2. Environment and Wildlife:

Advocating for the protection of surf natural ecosystems against coastal construction.
Promoting eco-friendly practices in accommodation and meals, with a focus on locally sourced and produced items.
Organizing clean-up initiatives, such as the "Amigos da Natureza" program, to preserve the ocean and coastal areas.
Making our clients aware of our commitments with protected areas and how to behave.

3. Local Economy/Employment:

Supporting the local economy by referring to locally-owned accommodations, employing local staff, and sourcing local food from small stores and restaurants.
Collaborating with local operators and suppliers, including partnerships with craft and cooperative centers as Cresaçor, locally privated owned museums, Pineaple plantation, tea factories, local ceramic production and others
Initiating projects like the canyoning and hiking trail, involving local farmers and fishermen, aiming to boost the local economy and improve lifestyle.
Implementing the "Inclui-te" program to promote social inclusion by integrating locals into adventure and tourism activities and providing monetary support.

4. Inclusivity and Diversity:

Launching the "Inclui-te" program for social inclusion, involving individuals dealing with social exclusion in adventure and tourism activities.
Integrating local authorities and associations into projects to address social issues, unemployment, and substance abuse.
Offering surf classes during the school period for students aged 6 to 18, contributing to community development and education.
Encouraging active participation of local people in daily activities, ensuring mutual benefits for both the company and the community.
Providing discounts and free vouchers to local institutions and communities.
Organizing voluntary actions and partnerships with diverse organizations to contribute to the well-being of the community.
Actively engaging in charitable initiatives to support local causes and organizations.
