Food at both lodges is locally sourced and they can cater for vegetarians and vegans. Araras Eco Lodge use dairy and meat products from their farm and vegetables from their organic garden. In urban areas such as Buenos Aires, our in-country partners can recommend restaurant options.

Araras Eco Lodge in the Pantanal employs local labour with around 85% of staff from the nearby city of Poconé. These locals are happy to share the beauty of their region, local music and traditions with guests. In Argentina, our partners and chosen lodge in Patagonia prioritise guides from each specific region to keep money within that area. Beyond showcasing the destinations' beauty, these knowledgeable local guides provide a window into the culture and lifestyle.

EMPLOYMENT, INCLUSIVITY AND DIVERSITY
The accommodation options on this trip all encourage and actively employ locals such as Araras in the Pantanal with most of the staff from Poconé. Inherent to their operation is training for staff on sustainability and protection of the natural environment and wildlife.
