During our time here, we’ll take gentle guided walks through historic streets, vibrant neighbourhoods, and along the Berlin Wall trail, allowing you to experience the city at a relaxed pace. Feel the textures of cobblestones and pavement underfoot, hear the hum of city life and the occasional tram, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of local markets and squares. Where appropriate, we’ll also include short boat trips on the Spree, giving a sensory perspective of the city from the water.

Vegetarian and vegan options: Berlin is renowned for its plant-based cuisine. We ensure vegetarian and vegan options are available throughout the trip by visiting local cafés, markets, and restaurants with meat-free selections. During a hands-on cooking experience, you’ll prepare and taste traditional German dishes adapted for all diets, enjoying the aromas, textures, and flavours of Berlin’s diverse food scene.

ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE

Heritage and culture: Berlin is rich in history and culture, from iconic landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag to vibrant street art and historic districts. Highlights include visits to artisan workshops, such as chocolatiers or ceramic makers, where you can touch and feel the textures of materials while learning about their craft. Throughout our explorations, we encourage sustainable travel practices, and in some cases, our entrance fees contribute to the preservation of Berlin’s cultural heritage for future visitors.

Urban wildlife and environment: Despite being a major city, Berlin is home to unique urban wildlife. On guided walks and along riverbanks, you may hear and spot birds such as herons, swans, and gulls, and notice foxes or hedgehogs in parks. Our expert guides ensure all interactions are respectful and highlight the importance of protecting both the natural and built environment.

Our trips are carefully planned to cater to various needs, including those with physical or sensory impairments. Assistance is available from the moment a client arrives at a destination until departure. On Tailored vacations, support is provided as much or as little as required depending on levels of sight and mobility. For Group trips, support is provided for every two clients, according to individual needs. Circumstances requiring additional support, including personal care or help during meal times, are assessed individually, and we do our utmost to accommodate all travelers.
