Tailor made vacations
This trip can be tailor made to create a unique vacation for your individual requirements by travel experts with intimate knowledge of the destination. It is a more individual trip that will suit those who enjoy immersing themselves in new cultures and environments, with the flexibility to plan a trip at your own pace. Quality and value are the hallmark of these trips, with most services being provided on a private basis.Responsible tourism
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we screen every trip so you can travel knowing your vacation will help support conservation and local people.

Our partners in the Amazon are committed to numerous research and conservation projects. Some examples of these efforts include working with lodges that strive to protect the rainforest from development and employing local people, giving them an opportunity to work and live well without engaging in activities that harm the environment like logging, hunting, or mining. Several lodges are also directly involved with additional projects including conservation research projects, promoting sustainable development practices locally, and implementing green initiatives at lodges themselves.
The Impacts of this Trip
We are well-equipped to take full advantage of the numerous cultural opportunities available at Lake Titicaca. While many itineraries will simply include a stop by the Uros Islands we always encourage going beyond these islands to the further flung communities on the western peninsulas and southern shore of the lake. In addition to time spent with local communities on day tours we can also arrange homestays with partner families.
Additionally, in the Sacred Valley we’re delighted to have partnered with Awamaki, a non-profit organization who assists artisan women to start and run their own businesses. The founding idea of the organization is that women are ideally placed to invest in their children, homes, and communities. The objective of their efforts is to provide women with a reliable source of income in order to increase their quality of life and well-being in addition to preserving cultural practices that have existed for centuries.

1 Reviews of Tailor made vacation in Peru
Reviewed on 11 Sep 2014 by Barbara Buchegger
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
EVERYTHING - it was just great!
2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
To inform themselves very early (6 month before booking) to get the most out of it. We therefore had the best vacations ever and people we met on our tour were just jealouse, because we could do all the cool stuff (we had organised the permits for Huayna Picchu, the Trek to Huchuy Qosqo etc.)
3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes I do
4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Great!
