1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
The School's ability to put me in a class (of 3) of people who were at the same level of Spanish as me, the quality and direction of the teaching and the friendliness of the staff.
2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Complete the language assessment test as accurately as possible. If you don't want to be in shared accommodation, find your own.
3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I think local people appreciated that we'd come to learn their language and were keen to communicate with them. I can't comment on environmental impacts (particularly as I had to come by plane) or conservation.
4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
It was an excellent and stimulating experience.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Joining a spanish class with other students.
2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Granada is very hot in August! The school itself is cool and comfortable but think carefully about your accommodation and how you will spend the rest of your time.
3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
It was very helpful to stay with a host family and use local shops and cafes outside the main tourist areas.
4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Excellent. The teachers were enthusiastic and supportive and the school arranges cultural activities outside of the formal classes so I was able to join a group to go to a flamenco performance at the Alhambra.

Planet and people
We are a non-profit co-operative organization whose members each participate in the decision-making process of the school and receive the same salary. All of our teachers are native speakers with university degrees, and they are specialists in teaching Spanish as a foreign language in Granada. All of the accommodation offered to students is selected carefully by the school and is within walking distance. The school pays the rents entirely to the accommodations and only charges a small commission to cover the administration expenses.
All fees paid by the students for cultural activities go entirely to local guides and companies. The school only charges a small commission to cover the administration expenses.
The school offers weekly conferences concerning ecological local problems; we collaborate with the WWF and donate on a regular base for the campaign Salvalince.
We endeavor, if requested, to find a suitable language partner from Granada who is learning your native language. This enhances the language learning process, promotes intercultural exchange and encourages autodidactic learning methods.
We also work with local non-government organisations in the field of language learning. The school offers on a regular base free Spanish Courses for African immigrants and refugees to learn Spanish in Granada.
