Jordan has a big water problem and we understand that water is too precious to waste. Therefore we ask you to limit your water use when traveling through Jordan. We encourage our visitors to take short showers and to never leave the tap water running unnecessarily.

During this program you will be camping outdoors, we ask you to not leave any waste behind. The Wadi Araba desert has no entry fees and no effort to conserve this desert is made so far. There are no people who come to clean your camping site after you left. You will be camping in the wilderness with your team and therefore it is extra important you leave no rubbish behind.

On this tour you will be doing much of the exploring on two-wheels - a low-carbon and low-impact way to travel when guests stick to marked trails where appropriate etc.

We expect our guests to always take care, to not leave any waste behind anywhere they go and not to damage any sites they visit. All people we work with are instructed to make sure people follow up on this.

As a business we strive to be environment friendly by limiting the use of paper. Reservations and such are all done via email.

During your cycling tour, your luggage will be taken by a local English-speaking driver. He will also transfer you as mentioned in the program. He will point out the locally owned restaurants and shops.

In Petra, you will find a souvenir shop called Handmade in Jordan. You can be sure that all the souvenirs that are sold in this shop, are made by Jordanian artists. They make sure that all the local artists are given a fair compensation for their hard work. Right under the Handmade in Jordan shop, you will find Petra Kitchen. Attending this cooking class is a great way to empower local women.
