This trail, stretching through the Alentejo and Algarve regions, is a testament to the beauty of untouched nature. The journey offers authentic experiences, such as savouring fresh seafood in local restaurants like those in Zambujeira do Mar, where the catch of the day is sourced just up the road. For the adventurous, the pristine waters of Praia da Amoreira beckon with opportunities for stand-up paddleboarding, surfing, or even a simple cycling exploration of the surrounding landscapes These activities reduce carbon footprints, but also promote a deeper connection with nature.

Walk past high, jagged cliffs which serve as the nesting place of over twenty bird species. Our local leader will share their knowledge of the biodiversity throughout the trip. However, it's not just about admiring the beauty; it's also about understanding the challenges. The invasive acacia plant, for instance, threatens the native flora. By being informed about such issues, our travelers can become advocates for conservation and play their part in preserving these natural habitats.
