Beyond showcasing the destinations' beauty, these knowledgeable guides provide a window into local gems and typical ways of life unique to the region, for example the nearby Welsh communities in Gaiman.

Throughout the trip, guests will dine at local restaurants with organic produce where possible. Puerto Valle in Ibera grown their own produce which provides an additional source of income. They are also actively involved in conservation of this pristine wetland area.

EMPLOYMENT, INCLUSIVITY AND DIVERSITY

The accommodation options on this trip all encourage and actively employ locals, many of which have grown up in the region. The Mercure Iguazu Iru hotel includes jungle walks and visits to nearby native communities in Misiones Province. At Puerto Valle in Ibera they use, buy and promote products made by local people. Lodge amenities such as thermos flasks and maté in the rooms, wooden toys, and the menu of the restaurant all reflect local culture and tradition. Staff are also provided with in depth sustainability training.
