The itineraries we create are guided by three core pillars: protecting the environment, supporting local communities and enabling our guests to travel responsibly. To achieve this, we partner with a boutique team on the ground that has championed responsible tourism since 2011 and shares our values.

Boutique and eco-conscious hotels that implement sustainable practices have been chosen throughout. For example, Cabanas del Lago offer eco-cabins, energy efficient design and a strong commitment to sustainable, meaningful tourism.

This itinerary has been carefully crafted to reduce the carbon footprint and protect the ecosystems visited. Domestic flights have been kept to a minimum, and a self-drive pace avoids large group tours, allowing our guests to choose slower, mindful travel. Excursions are operated in a small group to cut fuel use, limit noise pollution and avoid overcrowding. Wherever possible, we encourage low-impact activities, exploring on foot or by non-motorized means.
The route passes through conservation hotspots including Pumalín Douglas Tompkins National Park and the Chacabuco Valley, showcasing world-leading rewilding projects. Visitor fees directly support habitat restoration and park maintenance.

People are at the heart of everything we do, and this itinerary has been created to balance Chile’s iconic highlights with hidden community treasures, ensuring tourism benefits are shared widely.

Properties are all small boutiques, locally run or family-owned to ensure we channel tourism revenue into the local economy rather than in international hotel chains. Not only that, but they provide a real sense of place and insight to the local area. Visits to small towns like Caltea Tortel, Futaleufú, and Puerto Rio Tranquilo brings economic benefits to communities often bypassed by mainstream tourism. Throughout guests are encouraged to explore and dine out in locally run restaurants, to support small business and enjoy a genuine and authentic experience.

Our local partners employ certified guides who are trained annually on safety protocols, service, destinations, and responsible travel, ensuring they are equipped to make a positive impact. Experiences such as guided kayaking, rafting, and ice trekking are led by guides, providing skilled employment and keeping cultural knowledge alive.
