Responsible Travel
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) vacation so that you can travel knowing we've worked to maximise the benefits of your vacation to local people and places, and minimise any negative impacts.

CARBON REDUCTIONOur accommodations on the boat embody our commitment to sustainable practices. While renewable energy is an ongoing initiative, we've implemented several eco-conscious measures:
- The boat features 4 shared cabins, and each bathroom utilizes filtered saltwater directly from the ocean for showers, sinks, and toilets.
- Harnessing wind energy, our sail propels the boat on wind-friendly days, reducing reliance on the engine and minimizing our carbon footprint.
- Solar panels on deck generate electricity for all onboard needs, further aligning with our commitment to renewable energy.
Each day, we ensure a delightful spread of both vegan and vegetarian options for breakfast and lunch. Our carefully planned meals showcase an array of local-sourced fruits, vegetables, and delectable dishes crafted from the finest regional products. Approximately 80% of our ingredients are sourced from local farmers around Croatia, emphasizing freshness and supporting the local economy.
We're passionate about seasonal ingredients, aligning our menus with the natural bounty of each period for a true taste of the region. We actively check certifications and locality for any products sourced outside the local markets to ensure they meet our sustainability standards.
We avoid palm oil, soy, and forestry products in our food supply chain. Our dedication to sustainability encompasses conscious choices in the sourcing of all ingredients. This also includes learning that food is not thrown away senselessly, especially not on board with being in nature.
We should be thankful that we don't have to go hungry or worry about getting food. We would like to draw attention to this gift with our concept. With the food from local farmers, we support agribusiness and local farmers. The cultural experiences draw attention to the origin and careful preparation and show what it means to enjoy good food. This also includes learning that food is not thrown away senselessly, especially not on board with being in nature.
The oceans are overfished and many species are threatened with extinction due to overfishing. The meat industry is the biggest destroyer in the world and the main cause of climate change. To become aware of this, it is important to eat consciously and not in excess. This does not mean that there is no fish or meat, but it should be enjoyed consciously. The same goes for drinks, you can drink a lot of wine on land, but on the boat, it is important to connect with nature and stay in a healthy balance.
Food that remains from a sailing week, will either stay on the boat for the following week or we donate it to food recycling organizations in the home marina in Olbia. We mainly cook vegan and vegetarian meals to reduce the impact on the environment.
ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE
Our boat holds a strict recycling policy for all trash. We have dedicated containers for all types of waste. When booking with us and during our welcome briefing we emphasize the importance. Leaving no trash behind in any bay or marina we visit throughout the week.
We only anchor in the designated anchor area to preserve the underwater life. The national parks are all protected and carefully monitored by the park rangers. We adhere to all their rules and explain them to our customers. In areas teeming with wildlife, like fish farms, coral reefs, and coastal zones, we limit engine usage to protect and preserve the delicate beauty of nature.
The soap and shampoo offered on our boat are all bio-degradable and no other products are allowed to be used on our yacht.
The black- and grey water tanks are only being emptied in the open sea and nowhere close to the park territory. We also keep the tanks closed in marinas, as they should be. We are mindful of the water onboard, as there is only a limited supply.
Sailing relies on natural elements—water and wind—eliminating any pollution during our journeys.

LOCAL ECONOMYWe do our best to involve as many cultural activities in our program, as we can on our route. We carefully select family-run restaurants on the islands and marinas we visit. The vineyard in Sardinia and Corsica are both owned/run by families living on the islands for many generations.

EMPLOYMENT, INCLUSIVITY AND DIVERSITY
Within our operational team in this region, we have a workforce comprising approximately 10 individuals representing various nations, contributing to the creation of a diverse and inclusive workplace. Concurrently, we take pride in our partnerships with about 15 local individuals and businesses, actively engaging with the community. We cultivate meaningful collaborations with local partners, such as sourcing produce from nearby markets, collaborating with family-run restaurants, and supporting local boat rental companies.
Our trip is LGBTQ+ friendly, creating a welcoming space for individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Committed to fostering inclusivity, we strive to offer a supportive environment where everyone can feel at ease and fully relish the transformative experience of our wellness sailing adventure.
